In this 15th Lesson in Texas History, we will take a look at the struggle to rebuild a tattered Mexico ravished by war, rebellion, and civil unrest. We will explore the rise to power of a short-lived Mexico Empire, follow up thereafter by a Mexican Republic nearly free from Spanish influence. Finally, we will take a look at Moses and Stephen F. Austin and their entrance into Texas History.
