Line of Semi-Aridity
Based on the various maps discussed in this lesson, now consider this map showing the distribution and density of the Texas population.
Notice how the majority of Texans live east of the line of semi-aridity, and east of I-35.
Notice too that these Lone Star citizens live where the rain falls, the trees grow, and the winds don’t blow.
